Free Early Education Entitlement
The Government Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) Grant allows us to claim up to 570 hours per year of funding for all 3 year olds and 4 year olds, from the term after they turn 3 years of age. Some parents may be eligible to claim the 30 hour a week funding, which is up to 1140 hours per annum for eligible 3 and 4 year olds.

38 Week Fully Funded (FEEE) Places (Only 2 places per day available)
15 hours per week FEEE (570 hour offer) These places are available for a child 7.5 hours per day, and up to a total of 15 hours per week. The funded hours are between 9.00am and 4.30pm, 38 weeks of the year term time only.
30 hours per week FEEE (1140 hour offer) These places will be available for children of eligible parents. The funded hours are between 9.00am and 4.30pm up to 4 days a week 38 weeks of the year term time only.
This funding has no monetary value to parents. Parents will only be billed for additional hours or services that have been agreed and which are chargeable. These 38 week funded places do not come with a guarantee of an ongoing place. These places are limited and will be confirmed on a termly basis, one week before the end of the previous term.
Stretch Funded Places
These places are available for a child that attends our setting all year round and places are guaranteed until your child goes to school. As the funding covers the care and education only of the child, additional charges are payable which covers consumables and additional services. Additional hours over and above funded hours are also chargeable.
Eligibility for 30 Hours FEEE
The Government will issue an eligibility code to parents. This eligibility code and original copies of documentation must be seen by the setting. The setting will acquire consent from or on behalf of the parent to be able to receive confirmation and future notifications for the LA of the validity of the parent’s 30 hours eligibility code.
It is the LA’s responsibility to notify the setting where a parent has fallen out of eligibility and inform them of the grace period end date. The child’s place will be terminated at the end of the grace period unless the parent pays, in full, all fees due.
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
This is paid by the council to the Setting for all eligible 3 and 4 year olds accessing the FEEE. The EYPP is calculated by the council and used as governed by their Terms and Conditions.
We accept childcare vouchers from all major Childcare Voucher companies. These Childcare Vouchers are non-taxable and exempt from National Insurance Contributions (N.I.C.) for employees. All working parents, with children aged under 15, or 16 if disabled, are eligible. Childcare Vouchers can benefit both basic and higher rate tax payers.
Admission and Fees
When a suitable place becomes available parent/carers are contacted, if that parent/carer wishes to take up the place for their child, they will be sent written confirmation of the offer and will be asked to complete the relevant admissions forms and consents.
When a nursery place is offered, parents are required to pay a registration fee of £50 and the first month’s fees to secure the place. (Unless you are only accessing the core 2 and 3 year old funding.) We are unable to refund fees if a place has been offered, accepted but not commenced.
Fees are payable calendar monthly in advance on the 1st of each month. (weekly fee x 52 divided by 12).
No adjustment is made for Bank holidays or Christmas closure as these have been taken into account when calculating the fees on an annual basis. Fees are payable whether sessions are attended or not, through sickness, holidays, unexpected closure (through weather / emergency conditions)
The start date cannot be delayed, or attendance days changed unless agreed. At least 6 weeks’ notice must be given in writing (to expire at the end of a calendar month). If the number of sessions is to be reduced or changed or if you wish to terminate you contract and leave the setting.
Fees that are paid late will incur a £25 a week fine.
